In the passageway just outside the Terminal 2 station there are two long, identical murals that depict scenes from Beijing, together with airplanes and other flying objects.
In the T2 platform ceiling is a ‘cracked sky’, which is meant to give an illusion of flying in the clouds. Unfortunately the recessed lighting inside the ‘cracked sky’ is rarely if ever switched on, so most passengers pass through the station totally oblivious of the artwork above their heads.
