Shunyi’s four brasswork murals are said to reflect the locality, together with its achievements.
As is so often the case on this subway system, the effect of one of these murals, and hence of the entire set, is ruined by the stupid placement of safety and security messages, which absolutely no-one wants to read!
As already mentioned, Shunyi has a splendid red caisson ceiling which is guaranteed to make you look up as you enter or exit the station!
