Jiulongshan, or ‘Nine Dragons Mountain’, may at first thought appear to be a misnomer for this part of Beijing. However, in times gone by there used to be a set of hills here about two kilometres long which was removed to make way for a real estate development. Purportedly the nine hills used to resemble a dragon!
"Mountain Lights and Water Colours" uses coloured glass and natural granite. The glass is cleverly spliced and embedded in stone, creating a strong visual impact.
