Shoujingmao serves the Wannian Flower City Project – a top-grade residential quarter, covering nearly 800,000 square metres which is also a flower cultivation sales distribution centre. The project itself won the Great Wall Building and Structure Cup Award.
No surprise then that the mural at this station features flowers with a few random deer thrown in for good effect!
The mural is called ‘Dream of the Story’ and is made of painted auminium.
The deer – that is actually made of flowers – is a metaphor for a dream and a feeling of hope.
