Artist He Wei crafted these mosaics entitled " Moonlight in the Lotus Pond" - a reference to their inclusion in middle school Chinese textbooks, being regarded as a masterpiece of modern lyrical prose. The works focus on portraying the beauty of the moonlight in the lotus pond.
At first glance, these mosaics remind one of Van Gogh's works, but when you look closely, it is the moonlight of a lotus pond with traditional pavilions, cleverly combined with the red brick arched moon gates, which also echoe the theme.
The opposite wall depicts similar scenes at dusk.
On the platform itself, there is a rather eye-catching ceiling...
... while at Exit A , the two sides of the passagewas are decorated with patterns of sea water and starfish. This design is called "The Mystery of Aquamarine" and is 30 metres long.
