LINE 6 – Xihuang Cun (西黄村)

The station hall of Xihuangcun Station features a number of mosaics called "Closed Shadows and Flowing Gold", each of which is 4.2 metres across.

They all look quite similar, which is a shame as on their own I think they would appear much more impressive.

We are told that the blue sky of Beijing washes over each scene, with the bright yellow ginkgo leaves dancing in the autumnal breeze, while the white deer and horses in the distance bow their heads and drink water leisurely, or stand freely enjoying the warm sun!
