This station was the very first in Beijing to be built on a split platform design.
Nanluoguxiang is one of the oldest communities in Beijing, and has some of the most beautiful hutongs (alleyways) in the capital. The station decoration is modeled after the gray bricks, purlins, and brick carvings of the traditional courtyards.
